Sustainability is a commitment that has been at the heart of our business from the very beginning – many of our trips visiting unspoiled regions, where low-impact tourism plays an essential role in maintaining the rural economy.

Our climate commitments form a core strand of our sustainability work and we’ve set ambitious carbon reduction targets, which teams across the business will have a role in delivering, alongside our Responsible Business Forum. We track the carbon emissions associated with running our business and our trips (including accommodation, meals, flights and other transport) to help us to understand our progress and inform our emission reduction strategies and projects. And carbon footprint labelling of all of our trips helps our customers to make more informed choices.

As part of Hotelplan, and through our key partnerships with Rewilding Britain and Klimate, we’re investing in carbon removal technologies and rewilding our landscapes. And we work closely with our Hotelplan sister brands to progress our broader sustainability agenda.
