This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory office days. Due to the beautiful remote location, access to your own transport is essential. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £26,227.50 + up to £5,000 on target earnings + bonus
Working hours will be Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.
About the role:
The Aftersales Executive plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and accurate post‑booking experience for every customer. Once a holiday has been sold, you will take ownership of ensuring all elements are confirmed, correct, and communicated clearly. The role focuses on operational precision, proactive customer communication, problem‑solving, supplier coordination, and supporting revenue generation through retention, ancillary sales and upselling. You will work in full harmony with the Sales team to ensure a consistent, end‑to‑end customer journey, with aligned processes, service expectations and workflow handovers. Key responsibilities:
Accurately secure all elements of customer bookings including: accommodation reservations; transfers and transport arrangements; rail journeys; flight bookings.
Process booking confirmations, supplier replies, and system updates.
Manage daily task lists, inboxes and workflow queues, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Monitor and action: booking rejections; notifications; supplier chases.
Travel agent booking confirmations.
Complete booking checklists.
Provide clear, timely, and proactive communication to customers regarding booking progress, changes, options, upgrades, and confirmations.
Resolve supplier issues, offer customers alternative options, suggest itinerary adjustments.
Promote added‑value enhancements such as upgrades, transfers, extra nights, premium travel options, or unique experiences.

Strong background in customer service, operations, travel fulfilment or reservations.
Experience of working with a high level of accuracy, organisation and time‑management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience of using booking systems, email workflows and CRM tools.
Ability to analyse information and make sound decisions.
Experience working with suppliers or external partners is desirable.
Customer‑first mindset with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service.
