This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory office days. Due to the beautiful remote location, access to your own transport is essential. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Pay rate: £13.45/hr + holiday pay

Temporary assignment for 2-3 weeks

About the role:

• Review website pages against a defined list of words, phrases or topics.

• Identify and remove or amend relevant references within the page copy.

• Make minor adjustments to surrounding wording where needed so sentences and paragraphs remain clear and grammatically correct.

• Work systematically through a large number of pages, following agreed guidelines.

• Check completed pages for accuracy and consistency.

• Flag any pages or examples where the required change is unclear or requires further guidance.

• Use judgement to ensure the remaining copy continues to read naturally and make sense.

• Training will be provided.

Am I the right person?  We are looking for your application to demonstrate:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong written English and a good understanding of grammar and sentence structure. Experience with making small copy edits.

• Able to use initiative and make sensible decisions.

• Experience of working within guidelines.

• Competent Microsoft Office skills.

• Previous experience of using a Content Management System (CMS) is desirable.

• Comfortable working independently and completing repetitive, high-volume tasks.

• Previous experience in content, administration, digital, marketing or website work would be beneficial but is not essential.
